Brazil football shirt for Worldcup 2010

The 2008/10 Home Brazil Football Shirt is sponsored by Nike and Brazil fans around the world will watch their country wear it at the 2010 World Cup. The yellow and green Brazil Football Shirt for 2008/10 has been worn by current players Kaka, Robinho and Ronaldinho in their South American World Cup Qualifying campaign. The most famous Brazilian player to ever put on the yellow jersey is football legend Pele.

The Brazil 2008/10 Home Shirt consists of two of the colours that make up the Brazilian flag, yellow and green. The Brazilian national team are the most successful nation in FIFA World Cup history, having won the tournament 5 times in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. Brazil’s former star striker Ronaldo also holds the record for the leading goal scorer in World Cups, having scored 15 goals in 3 tournaments. The current team finished top of their qualification group and they will once again be amongst the favourites for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Arguably the strongest Brazil football team of all time were the winners of the 1970 tournament in Mexico. Brazil beat fellow football giants Italy 4-1 in the final, and their success has helped to cement the team’s place in history. Players to pull on the famous Brazilian football shirt in that tournament include Jairzinho, Tostao and the legendary Pele, in many eyes the best footballer to ever grace the game wore the number 10 shirt. The current squad of Brazilian players have much to live up to, but they posses the skill and talent required to bring the World Cup back to Brazil for the 6th time.
