Watch For New Authentic NFL Jerseys As Players Change Teams

One of the aspects that always keeps NFL team merchandise sales moving is that players switch teams so frequently these days. Off the field drama, salary caps, free agency, trades and more all lead to an increase in player movement and therefore a changing scene for authentic NFL jerseys. Here are some of the players you may want to keep an eye on this year.

Probably the biggest name that is likely to be on the move this year is Julius Peppers. He wants a long term deal with the Carolina Panthers, but both sides seem to think that it has no chance of happening. Therefore, Panthers fans will need new discount NFL apparel for another player, and wherever Peppers lands, fans there will be loading up on his jersey.

Another big name on the move is going to be LaDainian Tomlinson. It's hard to believe the huge drop off in production that the Hall of Fame running back has had over the past two to three years. Fans in San Diego still love him, as showcased by his authentic NFL jerseys everywhere, but the team will not be willing to pay him a big salary for just a modest role on the team. That means some lucky fans in another city will be stocking up on new NFL team merchandise with his name on it.

Terrell Owens is another Hall of Fame bound player that will be on the move during this off-season. There's a chance he stays with the Bills and nobody needs to change out their collection of discount NFL apparel. However, he could go any number of different places such as the Cincinnati Bengals.

Quarterback Donovan McNabb is rumored to be on his way out of Philadelphia. This is surprising, because his authentic NFL jerseys are some of the league's best sellers. But the Eagles may want to move in a new direction, which means a lot of old Eagles NFL team merchandise will be showcasing the wrong player. Of course, another Eagles quarterback, Michael Vick, will also likely be on the move.

These are just a few of the big names that are likely to be switching teams before next season starts. It all means that lots of new authentic NFL jerseys will need to be purchased, and NFL team merchandise sales will continue at a very rapid pace. Be on the lookout for these names and others next time you're shopping for discount NFL apparel.

Grabbing An Authentic Football Jersey

The NFL football is one of the biggest entertainment programs in the US. It is not only a form of entertainment, but it unites friends and families alike, amassing them into one big crowd of exited shouting fans. Authentic football jerseys are the symbolic part of this. Every true fan wants to have these relics in their wardrobe, the team jerseys of their favorite players. It is something which unites people even more.

These authentic football jerseys are part of our identity, they give us the social feeling of being together. We all love different teams, and are unified at the thought of being together at a football game. The most prevalent clothing is the football jersey. It is a way to show to others that you belong to a team, and a way to attract the attention of all. Jerseys can be really great when it comes to giving an identity.

Football jerseys come in both authentic and replica styles. There is a huge difference between an authentic football jersey and a replica. While both versions are embroidered with the player's name, the authentic jersey also combines mesh sleeves, in comparison to the replica jersey which has both bodies and sleeves made of nylon mesh. The second difference is that an authentic football jersey also has an official NFL equipment logo sewn on. A replica can look like an authentic football jersey, but these subtle differences will always reveal the truth.

An authentic football jersey may also include an autograph, or it may come with a photo or other collectible if specially ordered in a sporting goods store. An authentic football jersey is a symbolic act to show to the world that you really belong to a team. You have no better means to do that apart from wearing the authentic outfit of the team. When you have an authentic football jersey on, you feel that you are a part of something bigger and greater than yourself, and become a better person.

You respect yourself more, and also have better understanding in others. It is extremely important a feeling for every true football fan. Wearing an authentic football jersey is not a fashionable trend or something. Casual fans are now more likely to purchase authentic jerseys. They want to feel part of the team. Authentic football jerseys are the most common sports outwear, bought by the fans. Not a single sporting activity has attracted bigger attention than football. That's why wearing the jerseys is an important part of the fans' lifestyle.

How To Buy Authentic Mitchell And Ness Jerseys On eBay

Image : http://www.flickr.com

There are so many fake jerseys on eBay it's not even funny. I know some of you don't care if you're buying a fake jersey as long as it looks real and you get it cheap. However, for those of you who only want the genuine jersey, here are five tips to help you get the real deal...

1) The best way to avoid buying a fake Throwback jersey is to check the Official Mitchell & Ness website to see if they make the jersey you want to bid on. If you are still unsure then you can call them directly and talk to a representative who will gladly tell you what jerseys they are making and have discontinued.

2) If you can buy an authentic M&N Throwback jersey for under $100.00 then there's a 99% chance it is a fake. These jerseys retail for around $300.00 and no one can stay in business selling real Throwbacks at these ridiculous prices! This is one case where you do get what you pay for - a fake. So don't buy any M&N jersey if it's $100 or less!

3) Look out for blurry pictures where you can't see any of the details on the jersey. Also, most auctions selling fakes do not include close ups of their jerseys. This prevents you from seeing faulty craftmanship such as uneven or crooked stitch lines, different color stitching that overlaps one another, the fake paper tags with the bar code and sale price, faded holograms, and sloppy jock tags (on the bottom left front of the jersey). Some even steal pictures from the M&N website and pass them off as their own.

4) If a seller states NO RETURNS on his auction, beware. The only reason for a no return policy is because you will most likely know you got taken by a scammer and you will want your money back. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these sellers.

5) No doubt you've already heard, China is selling us lots of junk now a days. It's no different with jerseys. If a seller is from overseas, look somewhere else for your jersey. Asia has become the knockoff capital of the world. Look it up on the internet for yourself. Yes, some M&N product is made overseas. All i'm saying is to think twice and do your homework before you buy from overseas.

So there you have it, A crash course on buying Authentic Mitchell & Ness Throwback jerseys on eBay. In my opinion, if you want a real M&N jersey, just order it from their website.

Cheap Football Tops and Where to Find Them

The average price of a football top is probably around the £40 mark, which is far too much for the majority of fans. I think it's about time that fans started to take action to ensure the cost of official merchandise and football tops specifically returns to a more acceptable price.

Football clubs have to reach a compromise on their shirts in my opinion, especially those that change their designs every single season for both their home and away tops. Either they agree that a shirt that will only be used for one season should be sold at a lesser cost, or that they will keep a design for at least two years. From where I'm standing, that's the only reasonable compromise. And if the clubs won't agree to it, then I think one of the governing bodies needs to step in.

Parents are the worst sufferers in the football shirt debacle, as kids always demand the latest tops. Not only that, but because they're always growing they need to have their shirts replaced regularly anyway. Kids football tops normally retail about £10 less than their adult counterparts but this difference is normally erased as children like to have names printed on the back, which is also a costly affair.

Lets do some simple maths. If a man buys a home football shirt every season at the cost of £40 and then shells out another £30 to buy his child the same top, then that's £70 a year. When you take into account the price of tickets, that's too much in my opinion. But what's the solution? Well, there are a few ideas I'd like to see discussed. The first is to give supporters a reduction on shirts if they've purchased a season ticket. This is a logical step and rewards the most loyal fans immediately. I think that any adult sized football shirt purchased should immediately grant the buyer the right to get a child's shirt for half price. These are only a few ideas but could have a positive effect on how clubs deal with shirt sales.

There are cheap football tops available already of course from a handful of online suppliers. All internet shops can afford to sell shirts at less than the normal high street price, but many choose not to do so as they know all too well that people are still willing to pay top dollar for their teams colours. Hopefully, this will change and sooner rather than later.
